“As I moved through life, I realized how much scent or fragrance plays a role in memory and nostalgia and even yourself image is a part of selfcare.” (Kherani).
The world of fragrance is a large part of Sadaf’s life stirring back from her childhood, and she wanted to combine her love for travel and perfumery to take the consumer’s senses to move through the candle, taking them to a place of tranquility.
“I am also a really big believer in travel. To me travel is education right. And I was trying to figure out how to merge all these things together. And wanting a lifestyle brand is something that I wanted to head towards, and candles seemed like a wonderful introduction.” (Kherani).
What makes BOHĒME Fragrances stand out among other lifestyle brands is Sadaf’s passion and determination to make sure each product is not another candle of redundant scents but to promote the meaning of self-care through the fragrance world.
“A lot of candle scents that we have been exposed to are kind of the basics (Vanilla, Oak Moss, Tiki Wood) you know those scents are kind of one dimensional. I wanted to approach the concept of scenting candles from a true perfumery perspective.” (Kherani).
