Kate is a Freelance Marketer, Author and Entrepreneur who helps brands build themselves up utilizing social media. Her book “Oh Snap! You Can Use Snapchat For Business” which was named “Book of the Month” by IBM. She’s been with FORBES for a while and she loved learning about new trends, writing about them and sharing these important stories that could leave an impact on consumers. She is so passionate about being able to elevate stories that haven’t gotten any notice, instead of just the same old motivational pieces. Diversity was such a huge part of her job with FORBES and influenced her to go out and seek people with stories to tell that the world hasn’t heard too much about, especially women and women of color. She went solo because she wanted to do multiple things at once and get opportunities that she wouldn’t be able to beforehand.
