“My career did not start in media. I was a couple of decades on the brand side of the beauty industry — Building and advising brands and starting some brands of my own. I kind of fell into the beauty industry; I was in fashion. I was a part of the first executive team of bliss and was responsible for starting the catalog.” (Kovack).
While starting and working on the publication, Kelly strives to tell stories that no one else is. Give the truth on all things beauty industry.
“We need to do this for the consumers out there — there’s a lot of information out there, and there’s a lot of misinformation out there. If we’re not, as an industry, ready to have those conversations, then we’re not really serving our consumers” (Kovack).
