This week Ekta talks to Simran Kalra, the Founder of Haldi. Haldi is a new platform and store that is designed to declutter the skincare industry. There are so many products and brands to choose from now and many people don’t know where to start and what they need to use to enhance their skin. Customers of Haldi can take a survey and the site will take into consideration
it’s own knowledge of skincare, the customer’s products they have at home and their skin type and recommend products and what to use to achieve their skincare goals. Kalra herself said she started this journey because she experienced a change in her skin when she moved cities and
took the time to research a lot on skincare. Kalra also had a friend who had this issue so she offered to help her friend and that’s where the idea came from. “If you’re overwhelmed by the idea of navigating the clutter of the skincare world, we’re your people. We’re skincare nerds who test every product obsessively and read the latest-and-greatest ingredients as our bedtime reading.” (haldi.com).
