conducted a panel with these brands to dive deep into the meaning of “clean beauty” and what these brands hold high on their list of values as companies in this competitive industry. This
panel’s purpose is to educate consumers and other members of the industry on the meaning and background of “clean beauty”. These brands are focused on safe and nontoxic ingredients as well as full transparency with their consumers. OLIKA is a hand sanitizer brand that is taking the world by storm, their bottles are shaped similarly to a bird and are very effective in cleansing the hands.
“We derive our fragrances from essential oil blends to deliver a perfect mist of fragrance with better-for-you ingredients” (olikalife.asia). The next brand is Terasana which is a skincare brand focused on giving Gen-Z consumers clear and healthy looking skin with their products. The ingredients they use are 100% cruelty-free, vegan, ethically sourced, and untouched by harmful chemicals.
The brand knows how important sustainability is to its customers and the world of Clean Beauty, “We understand the toll thoughtless manufacturing can take on the environment. And we insist that everything we make is part of the solution, and not just another problem for a future generation to inherit. We’re here to do good.” (terasana.com). Pipette is a skincare brand for
mothers and babies which is something that is a newer line of products to the market, especially to Clean Beauty. Pipette “uses only completely clean ingredients derived from renewable sources.
We work with experts to ensure that these ingredients are safe enough for babies and nurturing enough for moms” (pipettebaby.com). Their mission for their Clean Beauty brand is to ensure their customers that they are doing everything they can to ensure safely made and effective products, while keeping sustainability towards the environment in mind. “We’ll treat the whole world like it’s our baby: No animal testing, no deforestation and no developing near rainforests” (pipettebaby.com).
